You will earn commissions two ways. First, you will earn commissions on "direct sales," these are sales done directly via your link and/or a returning consumer who has first made a purchase via your link from the past. Second, you will earn commissions on "sponsor sales," these are purchases made by consumers who done so as a result of an affiliate who joined our program as a direct result of your original link. Because we continue to pay you each time the same consumer orders again, you may consider this "residual commissions." Have you ever noticed something wrong with those other affiliate programs? We have! That is, you don't continue to get paid when the consumer orders again. You don't earn residual commissions!! That's bad news for you & your pocketbook. We assure you residual commissions when the consumer orders again! Some affiliate programs choose to only pay you commissions when the sale is made as a direct result of linking from you to them. They drop a few pennies in your pocket for the order you sent their way, but when the consumer orders again -- unless they come back to your link the next time -- you don't get paid on repeat business! Why bother with affiliate programs that don't allow you to earn residual commissions on repeat business? We made our affiliate program better! Again, our affiliate program will pay you commissions on repeat business rather they come back to your link or not. That's because we will continue to track that consumer's new orders by a consumer number (I.D.) that is associated with your affiliate I.D. Whenever we process an order under that consumer number we will commission your account -- it's that simple. Even if the consumer chooses to place an order offline (store, mail-order, phone, fax, etc.) we still commission your account with those sales as well. How's that for being fair? We also have an active Package Insert Program: we send special offers to the consumer with their order, you will also be commissioned when orders are placed from these offers as well! Consumers may also choose to signup for our eCatalog, the eCatalog gives our consumers access to even more products, specials, and sales that may not be found in our regular stores. Once again, we will credit your account on all related sales! You even receive commission on gift certificate orders because we credit you when the gift certificate is redeemed & when an order is placed by the gift certificate recipient. We also protect that consumer as if that consumer was your own! Suppose that same consumer was to stumble upon another affiliate's web site (or later, even our main site) and places an order for our products. Since you got the very first order from this same consumer you will still get paid on this order as well, and so will the other affiliate. YOU will earn commission at the "direct sales" rate and the other affiliate will earn commission at the "sponsor sales" rate -- YOU will continue to earn the highest commission percentage since YOU where the first to bring about an order from this same consumer! Again, you ask, what is "sponsor sales?" Most affiliate programs don't even have this! Suppose a person joins our affiliate program (rather they place a product order or not) as a result of your link. After this person becomes an affiliate they being to promote their own link and get orders. You will receive a commission (sponsor sales) for orders placed by consumers via the link of this new affiliate! This applies for everyone who has joined our affiliate program as a result of your link and there is no limit on the number of people who may join our affiliate program via your link. Now, if you bring us a new affiliate and they begin to bring us new orders -- don't you think it's fair that we give you something in return? We do, that's why you earn commissions on "sponsor sales!" You're asking just how much commission could you possibly earn? Here is an example: 10% Direct Sales of Artisan Gear Items 05% Sponsor Sales of Artisan Gear Items 10% Direct Sales of Dakota Free Items 05% Sponsor Sales of Dakota Free Items 40% Direct Sales of World of Products Items (FULL RETAIL) 05% Sponsor Sales of World of Products Items (FULL RETAIL) Again, these commissions apply to future orders as well (residual income). Please note! Our commissions will change from time to time and we will keep you aware of this. If ever we offer a "sale price" or "promotion" this too will effect commission rates. Again, we will notify you when commission rates are effected. From time to time we offer sales and promotions to consumers, this may mean offering an item for less than the regular sale price, when we do this we also adjust commissions for these sales and promotions. Whenever a new line of items is added to our stores we too will notify you, as well as the commission rates. When you join you will have access to our full line of items, together with information on all commission rates. You will also be invited to participate in our consumer auctions where you have the opportunity to earn additional commissions as well. We pay all commissions in U.S. funds from a U.S. bank account. Also note, any taxes (federal, state and local) that are applicable as a result of your commission earnings are your responsibility. You are not an employee of ours, thus, we will not deduct any taxes from your commissions. Commissions received may be considered "income" and taxes may apply that you will need to pay. Consult an accountant if necessary for advise. Of course, we cannot and will not make any claims as to how much commissions, if any, you will earn. We suggest that whenever ordering for yourself that you do so from you own link, that's because we will credit you for commissions on orders you place yourself! A perfect way to shop for self, family and friends. Once your join our affiliate program you can start earning commissions immediately. We pay commissions during the second month following the month of sale. For example, if the consumer places an order in January we will commission you in March. This allows us enough time to handle any returns, claims, etc. -- any such activity will reflect in your commissions. So, whenever a consumer returns an item, cancels an order, etc. we adjust the commissions appropriately (it's obvious we cannot pay commissions on returned items or canceled orders when we make no profit ourselves). Commission checks are issued by the 20th day of the second month following the sale. Commission checks will be issued when there is a commission amount of $5.00 or more. If current commissions earned total less than $5.00 then that amount will continue to carry over on your behalf until paid in full. This limit allows us to avoid unnecessary paperwork and postage costs when dealing with any small commission amount. Of course, we reserve the right to pay you sooner. Still waiting for a commission check? Some affiliate programs don't pay you a dime unless you have earned at least $25 or more in commissions! Our affiliate program: if on the six month, following the last month that a sale was commissioned to your account, if your commission amounts are still less than $5.00 we will issue you a commission check for the current amounts you have earned no matter how small! Fair is fair, right? In this example: if the last order commissioned to your account was in January we would issue you a check in July. We will NOT force you to wait any longer for commissions you have rightly earned. Some affiliates of other programs may still be waiting for their commission check only due to the fact that they have not earned the minimum amount required before a check will be sent out! As you gain commission sales each & every month you will find a commission check in your mail box on a regular monthly basis. We have also incorporated an optional feature that allows you to receive your commissions electronically (online) if you would rather not receive a paper check. NOTICE: IN A PUSH TO GAIN ACCESS TO MORE AND MORE OF YOUR PERSONAL AND FINANCIAL INFORMATION SOME AFFILIATE PROGRAMS ARE BEGINNING TO CHARGE AN $8 "PROCESSING FEE" FOR EACH PAPER CHECK SENT -- THEY NOW WANT ACCESS TO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT TO DIRECTLY DEPOSIT FUNDS. IMAGINE THEM TAKING THAT MUCH MONEY OUT OF EACH COMMISSION CHECK BEFORE THEY SEND THE COMMISSION AMOUNT DUE YOU! WE, OF COURSE, DO NOT CHARGE ANY PROCESSING FEES FOR SENDING YOU A COMMISSION CHECK! Try and get at least one order, per year, via your store link -- even if you place an order for yourself! All we ask is that you try and generate at least one order per year, even if you order for yourself. It's of no benefit to you (or us) if your affiliate account has no activity. Your affiliate account will be reviewed after one year from the time you joined. We will notify you of the current order history and the status of your affiliate account. If there has been no orders processed via your link you will still have the option to renew your link if you desire. While we do the work of managing the online store, process and ship orders, plus handle each consumer account -- it's still very important for you to promote your link! You cannot earn any commissions if you do not promote your link in some manner. You got to "get the word out!" We will give you tips on how to do this. It can be very easy to promote your link and many promotions can be done without cost. Even placing a small ad in your local paper could bring you additional sales. Right now you can join our affiliate program for free and you may cancel at anytime. If you ever choose to cancel your affiliate account we will still pay you all of the commissions you have earned to date (no matter the amount). It's not likely you will cancel your account but the option is there if you should ever find it necessary. Whenever an affiliate account is closed we will still continue to process any orders that are a result of the link -- this way consumers continue to be served -- but no further commissions will be paid. As an affiliate we have custom options available for you as well. These options will help you promote additional sales. We will provide you details of our latest options as well as keep you updated on new programs. Have you ever wanted your own web site? Also, it is necessary that we maintain a current email address for you so we may contact you about your affiliate account -- you agree, by joining, that we may contact you with information about your account as well as provide you with current details about our affiliate program. We limit the amount of communication we send to you but, at times, it will be necessary to inform you about your account. It is also necessary that we have your current name & mailing address to send commission checks to, we will make sure your account information is current before the check is sent -- you may update us at that time or anytime your address or account information has changed. Of course, we keep all of your personal information private. You are welcome to participate in our affiliate program & promote your link providing you don't associate either with: * violence or hate * promotions of discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age * illegal activities * promotions using unsolicited email or any other unsolicited promotions * you may not offer additional discounts, rebates or promotions without our consent * you may not change or interfere with our standard order processing system * you may not misrepresent our program or your position & relation to the program You may join the affiliate program one time -- there is a limit of one account per person, please.
